I am a Registered Nurse who has suffered with tailbone pain for over 8 years. Like all chronic pain, it is essential that sufferers get the correct support, diagnosis and treatment appropriate for them as an individual. This blog follows my journey with chronic pain, it expresses my personal opinions and thoughts. It is not intended as a replacement for advice or treatment from your normal Healthcare Provider.

Coil update

Regarding my coil removal: it didn't happen. I went through a lot of discomfort, all for nothing. The GP could not find the strings. So,at the moment I can't know if this is something that aggravates my coccydynia or not. Obviously I'm not a happy bunny today! Apparently it's 'blue Monday' , so guess I'm in good company!

Hope everyone reading this is having a nice day!

Pm: been very sore since this morning. This confirms to me that there is definitely a link with my pelvic floor, and possibly my coil. I've taken Tramadol, nurofen and paracetamol and still feeling sore. It makes sense- male or female, that some kind of 'dysfunction' in the pelvic area can cause pain around ones coccyx. Everything is so closely related and connected.

Off to stand and make some soup now, and put my music on LOUD!
