Nurse who suffers chronic tailbone pain

I am a Registered Nurse who has suffered with tailbone pain for over 8 years. Like all chronic pain, it is essential that sufferers get the correct support, diagnosis and treatment appropriate for them as an individual. This blog follows my journey with chronic pain, it expresses my personal opinions and thoughts. It is not intended as a replacement for advice or treatment from your normal Healthcare Provider.

A better day

So far, todays not been bad. I almost forgot I had coccyx pain.

This is largely because I have been out the house until now. I have done some Christmas Shopping (sorry!) and met my sister for coffee (sat on a hard wooden seat). Then I went to the gym.

I realise that I am quite fortunate in that if I am active and/or standing, and can control my seating when sitting; I am relatively pain free. My heart goes out to those that are in constant pain even whilst doing these things.

The problem is that some situations in life are beyond our control.
